United cruise into the Carabao Cup fourth round after a controlled display to see off Crystal Palace in our first domestic cup outing of the season. The Reds dominated throughout, and deservedly went ahead midway through the first half, when Alejandro Garnacho converted from Diogo Dalot's pinpoint low cross from the right byline. Casemiro's bullet header quickly doubled our lead to put us in a commanding position at the break, before Anthony Martial put the icing on the cake with a well-controlled finish within 10 minutes of the half-time restart. Opposition goalkeeper Sam Johnstone was kept busy by the Reds in the second half, but the count ended at three, as Reds earned a professional victory here in M16.
