Dan Gore has completed a second successive loan move to Rotherham United and is set to spend the 2025/26 season with the Millers, having initially joined the League One side in January.
This will be the tenacious young midfielder’s third stint away from Manchester United.
He played for Port Vale during the 2023/24 campaign.
Prestwich-born Gore was part of the 2022 FA Youth Cup-winning side, playing the full 90 minutes of the final victory over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford, alongside Kobbie Mainoo in midfield.
The now-20-year-old made his Reds first-team debut in September 2023, appearing as a substitute against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
That was the first of two senior appearances so far, as Dan was given his Premier League bow when coming on during a 3-2 win over Aston Villa on Boxing Day 2023. He has been included in several matchday squads since, between loan spells, including for our Europa League fixture at FC Porto last season, when he was an unused substitute.
In January, he joined Rotherham for the first time and made three appearances as the South Yorkshire side finished 13th in League One. He’ll now hope to build on that in his second spell at the New York Stadium.
Good luck, Dan!
