We are pleased to confirm the one-year extension in Grace Clinton’s Manchester United contract has been triggered, stretching her stay until 2026 at least.
The creative midfielder joined the club as an exciting prospect during the summer of 2022 and went on to develop her potential throughout two loan spells.
Grace's first temporary move was with Bristol City in the Championship, before a superb season-long spell with Tottenham Hotspur in the WSL.
Clinton was deservedly voted the PFA Young Player of the Year, following her excellent campaign with Spurs, and duly returned to United last summer, ready to make an impact as a Red - and it's fair to say she is shining.
Grace scored on her senior United Women debut in September, against West Ham United at Old Trafford, and has been a revelation so far this season.
The 21-year-old playmaker was voted our Player of the Month in both September and October, and is currently one of the first names on Marc Skinner’s teamsheet.
Clinton is currently preparing for United Women’s Adobe FA Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion at Leigh Sports Village.
