Manchester United Women return to WSL action this weekend after the recent international break, when we take on Aston Villa on Sunday.

Casey Stone’s Reds will be looking to bounce back following a 3-0 loss to local rivals Manchester City prior to the mid-season hiatus.

As for Villa, they’re a side who are also fighting for every point with the Midlands club locked in an relegation battle.

Ahead of the clash, here’s everything you need to know.

WHERE CAN I WATCH?
The game will be broadcast live on MUTV, with the pre-match show beginning at 11:45 GMT. Alternatively, coverage will be streamed via the FA Player.

TEAM NEWS
The Reds will be without Leah Galton after it was confirmed she recently suffered an ankle injury. Alessia Russo is unlikely to be fit for this one as she steps up her recovery from a long-term problem, while Lauren James is a doubt.

FORM GUIDE
United will be looking to bounce back from two defeats in a row against Manchester City and Reading. Before that that, the Reds had picked up back-to-back wins over Birmingham City and Everton and we currently sit in third place in the WSL, six points clear of Arsenal in fourth.

Meanwhile, the visitors have just one win in their last seven games in all competitions. This form puts them 10th in the WSL, only four points in front of the bottom side Bristol City. A win would see Villa potentially move up to eighth.

HEAD-TO-HEAD RECORD
The earlier league fixture this season saw United pick up a comfortable 2-0 win at the Bescot Stadium, thanks to goals from Leah Galton and Ella Toone. United have won all three matches we have previously played against the Villains and have scored nearly six goals per games in our previous meetings. That includes an historic 12-0 victory in the Reds' first-ever league match, in 2018.
